Eric Gales was another of the best bucket list performances I was lucky enough to see.
Unfortunately, Millennium Center's new house amps and speakers are overdriven in a reflective concrete room. The ported subs and the room resonance cause dominance from 80 Hz- 146 Hz and ALL of the other instruments and vocals were unintelligible and completely drowned out.
I was impressed how skillful the sound engineer mixed using Pro Tools and a digital I/O interface which allowed some of the performance to be heard while being limited by a poorly engineered sound reinforcement system and an undampened concrete room.
To see Eric Gales, I drove 150 miles to this venue after I worked a full day and we all suffered through it. I hope Millenium Center doesn't host any more concerts until they fix their room and their sound system.

Eric Gales is a very talented Blues-Rock guitarist and vocalist from Memphis, Tennessee, USA. His music is a fusion of Hard-Rock, Blues and Funk. His first release was in 1991 on Elektra Records at age 15.
