KGLT kids is teaming up with Greater Gallatin United Way to offer a free songwriting workshop for students enrolled in Kidslink. The workshop, which takes place from 4pm-5:30pm, teaches students how to write and record original poetry and music. selected projects will be aired on KGLT. There will be a showcase at Live from the Divide on may 1st. Parents are welcome to participate alongside their child. There is no registration or sign-up since the program is offered to all students however, there are release forms for parents to sign if their child wants to air their song on the radio.

Brian Kassay Biography
Brian Kassay is a live-looping multi-instrumentalist who seamlessly blends guitar, drums, keys, harmonica, xylophone, and violin to create a full and dynamic sound. Brian experiments with live looping techniques, layering different textures and sounds to create an intricate and mesmerizing musical performance. Brian does not use any backing or sampled tracks. Instead, his high-energy songs captivate audiences by building the composition layer-by-layer in real time with both physical and digital instrumentation. His show includes a growing catalog of both covers and originals which blend elements of folk, rock, and electronic music. He strives to push the boundaries of music by creatively weaving together a multitude of synth sounds and instrumentation resulting in a one-of-a-kind performance that should not be missed.
