Tyler Calkins began Marshmellow Overcoat (MMOC) in 2008 as an outlet for collaborating with many talented musicians. The band set out to create a sound reflecting the songwriting techniques of the sixties and seventies, while also utilizing modern and contemporary rock aspects.
Marshmellow Overcoat features Dave Verbocy, Alan Hancock and Anthony Cavallaro alongside Tyler. MMOC's hometown is Bradford, Pennsylvania, and the band performs most often in Western PA and NY State.
