6:30 PM: Lorena Leigh
"Cowgirl mermaid" Lorena Leigh hails from the Lone Star State, a singer-songwriter / producer who
weaves elements of Shania Twain's country charm, Maggie Rogers' indie-folk allure, Alanis Morissette's
raw emotion, and Spice Girls energy into her music. Upbeat and soulful, her whimsical underwater rodeo
and high-energy live performances have captivated a growing fanbase. Rooted in a childhood love for
country music, Lorena's skills are enriched by years of professional dance training with the Alvin Ailey
American Dance Theater and being part of the New York City surf scene in her early twenties. Her
influences give rise to catchy hooks, aquatic lyric narratives, and pedal-popped ukulele melodies laced
with positivity. Recent performance highlights include opening for Stevie Nicks & Little Big Town (Aspen
Jazz Fest), Mountain Air Music Series (Ouray), Panther Island Pavilion (Forth Worth), official SXSW stage
at the Container Bar (Austin), headlining at Downtown Cowtown, The Isis Theater (Fort Worth).
7:30 PM: Summer Dean
Summer Dean puts on a hell-of-a show. Armed with three albums, constant tours, and a hot five-piece band behind her, Summer struts onto every stage with the confidence and vulnerability of a songstress that has cemented her place among the top rank Texas tunesmiths. Her live show takes the concert goer on a ride of original songs bleding bravado, vulnerability, and a novelist’s eye for detail. Whether with her full band or all by herself, listeners and watchers are treated to an authentic, funny, and honest storyteller performing her way into legendary status. Recently named Texas Country Music Awards Female Artist of the Year, Summer has performed with an array of country aces, including Colter Wall, Marty Stuart, Asleep at the Wheel, Hayes Carll, Silverada (Mike and the Moonpies) and Charley Crockett.
8:30 PM: semiwestern
semiwestern is the shoegaze/indie rock project of Texas based artist and multi-instrumentalist Ty Bohrnstedt. Started
with his friend Daniel Gonzalez, their creative undertaking took root in their childhood as they crossed paths as tennis
players competing in national junior tournaments around the country. They would later reunite in their early 20s and
form semiwestern. Other members include longtime collaborator Jeff Morisano (kissed her little sister) and friends
Chris Semmelbeck, Tom Little and Preston Smith.
With influences ranging from the visionary songcraft of Grandaddy, Pinback and R. Stevie Moore, to the moodiness
and melodic brilliance of Lou Reed, Elliott Smith, Built To Spill, and Sonic Youth, semiwestern weaves a charmingly
unpolished and emotive sound that is heavily informed by DIY ethos.
10:00 PM: Harold and the Purple Crayon
Synopsis: When Harold is living within the confines of his book, anything he touches with his purple crayon can come to life. Now Harold wants to take it a step further, and draw himself into the physical world. Based on the 1955 children's book of the same name.

Lorena Leigh Biography
With Texas charm and New York grit, Lorena Leigh is the feminine fusion of homegrown story-telling, danceable rhythms, and summertime obsession. Her songwriting journey began at the ripe age of 3 with her first single “I’m thirsty, and I want something to drink.” The song debuted in her family’s kitchen and mingled with tunes by the likes of Trisha Yearwood and the Dixie Chicks.
Though Lorena’s musical foundations may have begun with country, classic American rock, and the Spice Girls, a wave of island influence crashed into her sound in her early 20s when she was given a ukulele and lived in Rockaway Beach, Queens. Lorena’s catchy hooks, lyrical stories, and electrified, pedal-popped ukulele melodies propel her music to the core of your soul.
It’s part cowgirl. It’s part mermaid. It’s all water theory.
After two EPs and numerous singles, Lorena's sound has been described by fans as "cowgirl-mermaid" music. Riding the momentum of those previous EPs Bella Vista (2015) and Jellyfish Queen (2018)- which contained the breakout single “Headstrong"- Leigh released her debut LP in the fall of 2019. Entitled 'Water Theory', the 11-song adventure was produced by Ernesto Valenzuela (Tommy Genesis, Espé, B-52s) and features an all-star cast including drummer Sterling Campbell (David Bowie, B-52s and Duran Duran). Laced with hints of Ellie Goulding, Nelly Furtado, Colbie Caillat, and Cyndi Lauper, Water Theory is a complete galaxy with engaging sentiments, vibrant characters, and cinematic soundscapes.
Lorena spent October to Dec 2019 on the road full time playing over 50 shows across the US in support of the album's release. It is her determination, soulful nature & out of the box stage presence that has garnered Lorena a grassroots following of fans that welcome the underwater rodeo of the universe. Lorena's childhood love of country music, years of professional dance performance & enthrallment with the NYC surf-scene during her early twenties, directly contribute to the catchy hooks, lyrical stories and electrified, pedal-popped ukulele melodies that drive her music and leave audiences buzzing with positivity.
Lorena rooted herself back in Texas at the start of 2020 where she released her second full length album, "Cowgirl-Mermaid Christmas" and hunkered down to ride out the pandemic with hometown support. Lorena will begin releasing a string of new singles starting this spring 2022.
“Texas-bred, quirky, theatrical (but deeply heartfelt) cowgirl/gravity-defying musical mermaid”
