Jacob Shije

Jacob Shije is an Indigenous musician from Santa Clara Pueblo, New Mexico. He fronts the Jacob Shije Trio, a rock’n’roll band inspired by Link Wray, Ritchie Valens, and Buddy Holly — blending vintage tones with modern energy. He also performs and records with the Levi Platero Band, where he proudly contributes to a powerful Native blues sound.

Jacob has shared the stage with artists including LA LOM, Keith Secola, Gary Farmer, Los Lonely Boys, and Larkin Poe. His live performances are known for their soul, grit, and cultural depth.
