Sola X (MIDINAYE SOKOH) was born and brought up in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. His upbringing and early experiences of joy & hardship have shaped his musical journey. Sola X has made a mark with his unique blend of Afrofusion, Afrosoul, and Afrobeat. His hit tracks, including the Amapiano anthem "Away", the gospel tune "Eli Jah", and the emotionally charged "Emotional Crisis," and more, showcase his ability to connect with diverse audiences.
Sola X’s talent has earned him significant recognition, including the Fast Rising Artist (Next Rated) award at the 5th (2021) and 6th (2022) editions of the Warri Entertainment and Recognition Awards. He also won the Most Motivated Music Artiste of the Year at the Delta Golden Awards (December 2022). His music, influenced by icons, is a testament to his dedication and passion for the art.
Starting his career while still in school, Sola X’s determination saw him transition from recording to instrumental tracks to gaining professional success and widespread acclaim.
