LEIGH (NZ)

LEIGH is the solo project of Cameron McCurdy (she/her), a Tāmaki Makaurau-based musician, comic artist & fae creature. She also runs Neglect Comics, a wiki for independent comics in Aotearoa.

Her first album was Sapathy: Roof City Staring (2019), her second album was Transience (2020), her third album is Empathy for My Future Self (2025), it isn't out yet, but it's very good. Comfortable? is on it.

She's one half of Dog Fork, with Ruben Mita (RABBIT as King of the Ghosts).
She plays live drums for deryk & Velveteen Shakes.
She used play drums for K M T P & Makeshift Parachutes, and was one third of Blu Fish & Title Pending.
She played trumpet on Lucky Me by Polyester; Full Circle, 2 Days, & Big Wide World by K M T P; and played drums on Think on Your Feet by S P E R B 3 R.
