Ryan Hetrick & The Electric Biography
Hailing from Cleveland, Ryan Hetrick's sound comes from growing up in the Rustbelt with Segar, Stones, and Dylan always on in the background. Spending years immersed in the vibrant music scenes of CLE, Athens (GA), SF, and Portland (OR).
Ryan Hetrick & The Electric was formed in the Spring of 2024 and recorded an EP that summer. The band is going to be heading back into the studio soon with a full-length release slated for later this year.
The vibe is Jamericana: lyrically-driven rootsy rock and roll, that at times, drifts into spirited improv jams. Guitar players Hetrick and Josh Donato play effortlessly off each other, and the rhythm section holds it steady wherever it goes.
