Xander Nelson

Fearlessly fusing the joyous intensity of garage rock and pop-punk with the soulful swagger of blues, this Portland, Maine based singer and guitarist has been turning heads since his debut in the New England music circuit in 2017. Flashing the chops he honed at Berklee College of Music, he and his band have shared the stage with Grammy nominees and local legends alike, and have become well known for their high-energy live sets. Unlike most rock artists out there, he gives you both something to pump your fist and shake your hips to.

He has released two critically acclaimed EPs and 3 singles, with songs like "In Time," "Lonely," and "You Got A Problem" getting extensive local radio play on Maine radio stations WCYY, WBLM and WCLZ.

You’ll find Xander fronting his own band, playing lead guitar in Toby McAllister & the Sierra Sounds, and playing solo acoustic covers in bars, restaurants and hotels all across northern New England!
