verygently Biography
verygently brings together three established Nashville singer-songwriters – Drew Erwin, Joey Hendricks, and Tristan Bushman – who joined forces in early 2024. Their debut EP and tours with Augustana and The Band Camino quickly captured fans' attention through high-energy live performances and songs that pair wit and vulnerability, blending heartache with the undeniable charm of three best friends sharing the stage.
With their first EP, DUMBA$$ MODE, verygently defies singer-songwriter conventions, proving that heartache doesn’t have to keep you down. Instead, songs like “SIR, THIS IS A WENDY’S” deliver a lament with a wink, while the indie-rock anthem “GET OVER YOU” showcases infectious three-part harmonies that only come from artists who have found their perfect match in each other.
Their forthcoming EP, produced by Noah Gundersen, marks a bold evolution for the band. Combining Bushman’s moody storytelling, Erwin’s soaring melodies, and Hendricks’ ‘70s-infused songwriting, the record feels both fresh and timeless. Recorded to analog tape at Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, the EP cements verygently as a band whose collective artistry is greater than the sum of its parts—setting the stage for an exciting future.
