About this concert

Niton Biography
Niton is an Italian-Swiss electroacoustic/psychedelic trio formed in 2013, featuring Zeno Gabaglio (5-string electric cello), Luca Xelius Martegani (analog synths), and El Toxyque, who transforms everyday objects into unexpected sound sources.
Their music inhabits the space between experimental electronics, ambient textures, and krautrock rhythms, creating immersive sonic landscapes that defy classification. Across four albums and works for film, theatre, and art installations, they balance meticulous composition with the spontaneity of improvisation.
Drawing inspiration from artists like Alessandro Cortini, Ben Frost, Oneohtrix Point Never, Tim Hecker, Murcof, and William Basinski, Niton crafts music where technical precision meets emotional depth.
Their latest album, "11", marks a decade of sonic exploration and was lovingly mastered by Henning Schmitz (Kraftwerk), adding a further layer of sonic clarity and depth to their immersive sound.
