Ashley Daneman is a jazz singer known for her emotionally rich, intimate sound that blends literary depth with experimental jazz. Her latest album, People Are Fragile (Flood Music), explores themes of loss, healing, and renewal.

She honed her craft in Washington, DC, New York City, and on tour throughout the U.S. A former resident artist at the Kennedy Center’s Betty Carter’s JazzAhead and the Banff Centre’s Jazz and Creative Workshop, she earned her master’s degree from Manhattan School of Music under the mentorship of Peter Eldridge, Kate McGarry, and Theo Bleckmann.
