The roots of Dirty Brain stretch back to high school, where childhood friends Will Schmidt and Ian MacKenzie discovered a shared passion for music. After years of playing classical music, they eventually began delving into rock, covering bands like Linkin Park, Muse and Coldplay. It wasn’t until 2021, however, that the true vision for Dirty Brain began to take shape, as they collaborated with Philadelphia music scene veteran Paul Buondonno and later recruited Mike Zajac and Aidan Riess. More than just a band, Dirty Brain is a group of friends committed to making music that resonates and invites others into their journey.
