Delaney Bailey

My name is Delaney Bailey, I'm a 22 year old artist from Indiana, currently based in Chicago. I began my music career the summer after my freshman year of college, and my first album was released during my junior year. I knew that I wanted my next project to be something more personal, so I made the decision my senior year to write, record, and produce everything for it on my own. What We Leave Behind is a 5 song EP which talks about the things that I loved and hated about Indiana. I began to take account of everything around me once I figured out I'd be moving out of state for the first time in my life. I recorded these songs in my hometown with a mic plugged into my phone, set up on a cardboard box in my bedroom. This is my first EP that I feel is true to the kind of music I want to be making. What We Leave Behind was released on July 26th, 2023, the summer I moved to Chicago. I'm so excited to play these songs live in my first headline shows this fall.
