Out of the ashes of three young lifetimes of ambition, love, failure, success and a million and one PBRs comes Dumb Crush, the united front of tenured DIY musicians Owen Hooper (Mouth Breather), Elliott Isaac (Cam Kahin/CJ Wiley) and Liam Colbert (Rise Carmine) who in their own rights have played hundreds of shows across North America and Europe and collectively amassed over a million streams.

In a world whose signals grow louder and louder, a place that provides only questions, Dumb Crush has found a cure for what’s been tearing us limb from limb, and heart from heart.

Their upcoming EP “What’s Gotten Into People?” featuring lead singles “Annihilation,” “Witches In The Dark” and “Get Away” was recorded entirely live off the floor over two days at Dreamhouse Studios in Toronto.

“Witches In The Dark” landed radio rotation on SiriusXM The Verge, CBC Radio, was played on Sportsnet’s Hockey Night In Canada three weeks straight (averaging 1.27 million viewers per broadcast) and was playlisted by Line of Best Fit, DORK and Exclaim! Magazine.

“Get Away” touts a music video directed and edited by Jack Harrison (the designer of J. Cole’s “Might Delete Later” album artwork and Kings of Leon’s latest video wall, plus visual collabs with Vulfpeck, A24 Films, BADBADNOTGOOD, Marc Rebillet, etc.)

These songs see the band navigate a fever dream of the dregs of our time on this planet, forced to survive with shoebox condo capitalism and the devastating weight of nostalgia.
