Plastic Peaches

We are from Essen in Germany and play a combination of grunge, dream pop and alternative indie music. The classic rock outfit is complemented by synthesizer sounds and a saxophone. While the woodwind instrument nonchalantly joins an overdriven guitar, disco beats also frame punk rock basslines seamlessly. Maja, Alina, Eugen and Daniel find inspiration in bands like Nirvana, The 1975, Sleater-Kinney and Wet Leg. The two female voices offer melancholic insights into personal stories that tell about weltschmerz and the pains of coming of age. Formed in 2022, the band continually released their first singles Cobalt Blue, Faking It and Moldy Peaches, all with music videos produced on their own, and will release their debut album in 2024.
