About this concert
Riptide 2025 - August 28th to 30th, is a music and arts festival spanning three dynamic venues set in picturesque Manorbier on the last weekend of Summer. It is the ultimate summer send-off! Beginning in 2022, this year marks its exciting fourth wave. Born from a desire to celebrate the incredible artists and musicians who've performed at Manorbier Castle Inn through the season, Riptide has become our way of saying
thank you to our vibrant community for supporting them and us and being a part of making Manorbier a hub of magic and creativity.
Riptide festival this year is proudly in association with, and supporting The What If Freedom Gallery, Libertad, National Theatre Wales, TEAM, and Surfers Against Sewage.
The main stage is the Castle Garden, at the back of Manorbier Castle Inn. There are additional performances at Manorbier House and there will be an array stalls, crafts, and workshops, with photobooths, glitter, face painting, and more, spread across the The Reading Room Gallery, Manorbier House and 'The Garage' opposite the Castle Inn.
An online weekend ticket grants you access to all festival areas for the entire weekend. And we will be releasing a limited number of individual online day tickets for a one-time access to the main stage.
Please note that day tickets may be available at the door, but this is not guaranteed but if available will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
For those without a weekend ticket, Manorbier House/ The Reading Room & The Garage will be accessible with a small donation at the door. It is best to secure your weekend ticket online now to ensure full access.

Jodie Marie Biography
Jodie Marie was signed to Decca Records/Universal Music in 2010 and began writing songs with former Suede guitarist and producer Bernard Butler and singer songwriter Ed Harcourt.
Her debut album Mountain Echo (released in 2012 on the Verve imprint) was described by The Guardian as 'velvety and bittersweet’ and received much critical acclaim, including nomination for the 2012 Welsh Music Prize. She followed this by striking out on her own and self-releasing her second album Trouble in Mind in 2015.
Released in 2021, collaborating again with songwriters Ed Harcourt & Dan Smith (of the Noisettes) and produced by Owain Fleetwood Jenkins, Jodie Marie’s latest album The Answer is available via all digital platforms, and also on limited edition vinyl and CD formats via her label, Carmel Records.
At the beginning of January 2023, Welsh Recording artist Jodie Marie travelled above the Arctic Circle to write new music as part of an artist residency with help from Arts Council Wales International Opportunities Fund. She spent just over 3 weeks alone on Seiland island, Norway in almost 24hour darkness writing music for her 4th album. The isolation and beauty that the island provided ended up inspiring her to not only write towards her 4th album, but also to create her latest 6 track EP, Polar Night (set for release 5th May 2023) which was directly inspired by her time there.
The first single, Eye Of The Storm, was written after a hurricane hit the island during her stay, it's the first single release off of the new EP, Polar Night and will be out on the 14th April 2023.
