Dr. Alyn E. Waller

Revivalist, vocalist, lecturer and social activist, the Reverend Dr. Alyn E. Waller is the Senior Pastor of Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church in Northwest Philadelphia. As the Senior Pastor since 1994, the church has grown to over 15,000 members, 15 full time staff and 100 ministries that take a holistic approach to addressing the issues that congregants face on a daily basis.

In addition, being unapologetically “Youth Oriented”, Dr. Waller has created the Young Abrahams, a ministry that pairs young boys, ages 7-12 , with men who provide assistance with academics, social skills and guidance that will help them to build a firm foundation for the future. And the Young Abrahams love the interaction with Pastor Waller and the fact that they can”jump the line” on Sunday when church resumes in-person service.

Pastor Waller is an Ohio native who earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business from Ohio University, a Master of Divinity Degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry in Ministry to Marriage and Family from Palmer Theological Seminary.

His partner in marriage and ministry is Dr. Ellyn Jo Waller, who leads the Women’s Ministry and a mother to their two daughters, Elynn Morgan and Eryka Lynn. In closing, Pastor Waller’s goal is to ensure that Enon will always be “A Place Where People Encounter God”!!
