Lenny Monsou

Lenny Monsou is a true artist at heart, known for his versatility. With his powerful vocals and remarkable songwriting talent, he blends elements of rock, pop, and electronic music into something fresh and exciting. His tracks aim to evoke a timeless, melancholic feel but also youthful energy and an intense emotional depth. There’s a clear, inner drive to create music in everything Lenny writes, sings, plays, and produces. With his unique style—a mix of glam rock and new romantic vibes, with a pop-driven edge—Lenny Monsou has quickly made his mark on the Dutch music scene. His music draws comparisons to influences like T-Rex, David Bowie, and Duran Duran, but also to contemporary artists like Harry Styles and The 1975.

Monsou grew up in a musical family and at fifteen, he attended the Herman Brood Academy, where he graduated with top marks for his artistic skills. In January, he already performed a full show at Eurosonic Noorderslag, even before officially releasing any music. This past summer, Lenny opened for S10 and was named 3FM Talent. With this, Lenny Monsou follows in the footsteps of previous 3FM Talents like Claude, Goldband, S10, Froukje, and Meau. The 3FM Talent program offers extensive support to promising Dutch artists on the verge of breaking through.
