About this concert
Come hang out with Andrew Chappell & the Bitterroot Revival by the river! We’re bringing the FULL BAND to Locking Horns Riverside for a special outdoor show on their brand new stage, set just steps from the scenic Payette River. It’s a rustic, open-air setting perfect for kicking back with friends and enjoying some live music. The restaurant has outdoor seating available a bit farther from the stage, mainly for diners—so if you want to get close to the music, bring a blanket or some camp chairs and claim your spot near the stage after you eat. Great food, plenty of menu options, fresh air, and a whole lot of music. We’d love to see you there!

Andrew Chappell Biography

Andrew Chappell, a Texas native now based in Boise, Idaho, is an emerging force in the world of country music. With roots steeped in the sounds of classic country and a style that defies the polished edges of today's mainstream, Andrew offers a refreshing return to the raw, heartfelt storytelling that defines the genre. Drawing inspiration from legends like Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings, his music seamlessly blends the grit of traditional country with a rock and roll edge, creating a sound that’s distinctively his own.

Andrew's musical journey began early in Dallas, where he played drums in his church band and sang in the choir with his father. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, Andrew honed his skills on guitar, bass, drums, and piano, while channeling his life experiences into songwriting. His debut album, Loneliness and Whiskey, showcased his knack for turning themes of love, loss, and addiction into evocative songs that connect with listeners on a profound level.

Following the success of his debut, Andrew released the singles "Mr. Radio" and "Quittin' Time," both of which have set the stage for his latest EP, Reckless. "Quittin' Time" earned notable recognition on the "Rick Spins" show on ISSA Radio, winning a Battle of the Number Ones, while his song "Over You" remains a fan favorite for its haunting melody and poignant lyrics.

Performing with his band, Andrew Chappell & the Bitterroot Revival, or as a solo act, Andrew captivates audiences with high-energy shows that leave a lasting impression. Last year, he played an impressive 179 shows across the Pacific Northwest, establishing himself as a dedicated live performer. His efforts have been recognized with the Gold Award for Emerging Artist of the Year from the International Singer Songwriter Association, along with multiple nominations including Male Vocalist of the Year, Male Single of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Duo of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.

Andrew's music often leans into metaphor and vivid imagery, exploring the bittersweet aspects of life with a unique perspective. As he expands his touring regions and releases more music, fans can expect the same depth and authenticity that have become his signature.
