Joey Aronskind

Joey Aronskind is the true “chetzi-chetzi” Israeli-American rapper. Previously an indie r&b artist oozing vibes similar to those of Dominic Fike, Mac Miller, and Post Malone; Joey is now pivoting his music portfolio toward Jewish and Israeli hip hop.

As someone who spent his 20’s studying, volunteering, and traveling the world; Joey makes music which lends itself to adventure. His 2019 hit “Everybody Dies” was created after Joey met Colombian singer ILAMIKE busking outside a bar in Mexico City. Joey has since collaborated with artists in Los Angeles, Berlin, and Tel Aviv. He speaks Spanish, Italian and Hebrew in addition to English.

Joey’s 2023 EP "All-American Aronskind's" was co-created by Grammy-nominated producer Jayme Silverstein. Visually, musically, and lyrically, the 7-song EP references themes of americana, wanderlust, self-realization, environmentalism, space exploration, and psychedelia.

Joey's upcoming EP, “The Many Faces of Yosi ben Aharon,” will include production from Israeli hip hop legend Cohen, as well as features from Jewish hip hop stars such as Kosha Dillz and Westside Gravy. The project combines several different styles and genres within a soundscape of mediterranea. It is sure to make you dance, laugh, and cry all summer 2025.

Joey is currently based in Tel Aviv, where he seeks to perfect his Hebrew and tap into his Jewish roots as a source of artistic inspiration. Some of his favorite Israeli artists are J.Lamotta, Eden Derso, and ATAR MAYNER.
