Gold Coast indie/surf rockers Cosmic Vice are hitting the road this May and June in support of their electrifying new single New Age Fool. Since bursting onto the scene in 2022, the four-piece have carved out their signature sound — surfy, crunchy, and unapologetically raw — with tracks like Blur, Stuck in the Middle, and Don’t Care capturing the chaos and clarity of young adulthood.
Following their win at Dream Sound Festival alongside The Terrys, Lazy Ghost, and Ra Ra Viper, Cosmic Vice have been cementing their rep as a live force — sweaty venues, full singalongs, and that feeling of being in it together. Now, they’re bringing their high-energy show to Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong, Byron, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, and Yamba.

COSMIC VICE Biography
Hailing from the Gold Coast, Cosmic Vice emerged in 2022 when childhood friends Arden and Liam decided to turn their shared passion for non-jazz rock into something more. The duo, previously bandmates in school, grew into a full-fledged indie/surf rock band with the addition of bassist Declan and lead guitarist Nick, who met through the live music scene in Brisbane. In mid 2022 CV won the battle of the bands for Dream Sound festival playing with the likes of The Terrys and Ra Ra Viper, and since then have played alongside acts such as Lazy Ghost, The Moving Stills, Chutney and Bootleg Rascal.
Known for their surfy, crunchy indie rock sound, Cosmic Vice delves into themes of young adulthood, relationships, and unspoken struggles in their lyrics. Their energetic live performances, spanning the Gold Coast, Brisbane, and the Sunshine Coast, are characterised by high energy, sweaty venues, and engaging interactions with the audience. Cosmic Vice aspires to broaden their listenership beyond their hometown, while their music aims to convey the message that others have navigated similar emotions, fostering a sense of connection and camaraderie.
