Livia Barrell Biography
Livia Barrell is a rising pop artist with a sound that’s equal parts heartfelt and cinematic. Her story starts with her grandfather, a musician who shaped her childhood and gave her a passion for performance. Years after his passing, during the heartbreak that inspired her debut album, she found not just healing but a voice all her own, one that blends raw emotion with irresistible melodies.
With a background in musical theatre and film acting, Livia brings a natural flair for storytelling to her music. Her debut album, New Year’s Eve, is a glittering yet introspective look at heartbreak and new beginnings. It’s the soundtrack to a party where you’re dancing under the lights but can’t quite shake the ghost of someone you can’t forget. Songs like Low Expectations pull no punches, blending sharp lyricism with anthemic choruses that feel tailor-made for singing your heart out.
"These songs are pieces of me," Livia shares. “Low Expectations was a warning sign I didn’t want to admit at the time, but looking back, it was all there. If my music helps someone else make sense of their own story—or just scream along to let it out—I’ve done my job."
Now based in New York City, Livia’s performances are as electric as they are vulnerable, turning every stage into a space where listeners can let loose and feel seen. As she builds her audience and gears up for her new single releases, it’s clear she’s just getting started.
