Experience an intimate evening of soulful melodies and heartfelt storytelling as Irish singer-songwriter Nathan Johnston (formerly known as Sion Hill) performs for the first time in Salzburg on April 26th, 2025. As part of a European tour spanning Germany, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, the UK, and the Netherlands, Johnston will showcase brand new material, acoustic renditions of songs from his debut album, 'Elephant', stripped-back versions of his work with Hamburg-based soul collective Angels of Libra as well as a number of Irish favorites. ABOUT NATHAN JOHNSTON ✷✷✷ Hailing from the small town of Mullingar, Ireland, Nathan Johnston blends soul, pop, and laid-back acoustic folk, drawing inspiration from the likes of Otis Redding, Jack Johnson, and Paolo Nutini. After six years performing as Sion Hill—touring with acts such as Pete Doherty, A-ha, and Alice Merton—Johnston made the bold move to go independent, reclaiming the rights to his music and releasing under his own name in 2022. His first project post-rebrand was a collaborative record with Angels of Libra, a 10-piece soul outfit from Hamburg. Their self-titled album received international acclaim, featuring hit singles such as Angel of Libra and All Your Love, which gained heavy radio play across Germany, the UK, and Italy. In recent years, Johnston has continued to evolve as an artist, releasing a string of critically praised singles, including Barbara, All The Stages, and Warm Milk. His latest solo E.P., inspired by a creative retreat in Corfu, is set for release later this year with a new Angels of Libra album following in the Autumn.
