The Critics

The Critics are an original alternative rock band from Fortuna, California influenced by the sound of the early 2000’s, including bands such as The Strokes, Radiohead, and Arctic Monkeys. They are passionate and dedicated to their art, having fun playing for their fans and aspiring to be heard around the globe.  

In less than 3 years The Critics have accomplished the release of their debut album “Miserable & Melodramatic”, have played tons of live shows, won the top prize of $5,000 at the Fernstock Battle of the Bands, released three music videos, and released a live concert film “Live at Bear River Casino Resort” where they were the opening act for legendary rockers Everclear. The band just finished recording 2 singles and their second album. Release dates are anticipated from April through October 2025.
