Dick Earl's Electric Witness Biography
Dick Earl's Electric Witness is the result of decades of loving the blues, learning life’s lessons by leaning on his faith, and sharing those experiences through his stirring harmonica, solid guitar styling, and raw vocals that have been described as “honest and strong, from the depths of a true bluesman’ s soul.”
Dick Earl's Electric Witness offer their audiences an astonishing experience with the Blues, from the heart of the Delta to the streets of Chicago, and parts beyond. With Isaac Ericksen (bass) Mari Ericksen (drums) and Thomas Anderson (guitar) creating a rhythm section second to none, Electric Witness testifies with soul to multiple generations. The family band's self-titled debut album can be streamed on all major online platforms.
Long-time Las Vegas Blues Society member, Dick Earl, has recorded with numerous studio artists, appeared as an on-stage and pit musician at Tuacahn Amphitheater, and toured with nationally acclaimed Blues artist and recipient of a "Keepin' the Blues Alive" award, Tas Cru. Also, he was featured as the subject of the documentary "Into the Fire" at Doc Utah.
Dick Earl has played on stages stretching from coast to coast and into Canada. Most recently Electric Witness competed in the 2023 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee where they finished 3rd overall. They were honored to represent The Las Vegas Blues Society in this prestigious event hosted annually by The Blues Foundation.
