Happy Together Tour

At this point in my mature life I spend time reminiscing about simpler, happier times. And the “Happy Together Tour” certainly fit the bill. I regret not venturing out to a concert sooner. My main reason for attending was to see The Cowsills. I’d seen them in concert when I was in junior high. However the other performers absolutely tugged at my heart strings. It was such a blast to be able to sing practically every word to every song. Concert attendees blended their voices like professionals. The result was a monumentous heart-felt ballad which resonated through the performance hall. It was especially thrilling when the performers as well as the band quit singing and playing and the audience continued singing the rest of the words acapella. I was in the 5th row so I was in close proximity to the entertainers and could feel their expression of love for their craft. Having this much fun with other like-minded folk certainly made me feel younger. I was sad when the concert ended and we had to leave. Accolades to the band, the performers, the stage wranglers, the ushers, the fire drill in the middle of Act 2, and the bat that flew in after intermission and stayed to enjoy the concert. All was well in Lima, Ohio. See you next year!
