Katrina Burgoyne

Katrina Burgoyne is an Australian-born, Nashville-based country music singer-songwriter hailing from Gunnedah, New South Wales. Her passion for music ignited at age nine during a family journey through the Australian outback, inspiring her to learn guitar and compose songs around the campfire. ​

Throughout her career, Katrina has achieved notable success, including four top 10 singles, a top 10 ARIA-charting album, and two Country Music Association of Australia (CMAA) nominations. Her songwriting prowess has led to over 70 published works and cuts across three continents—North America, Australia, and Europe. ​

In 2017, Katrina relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, with just three suitcases, a guitar, and a dream to make her mark on American country music. Collaborating with her husband, audio engineer and producer Steve Kinney, she has been crafting a sound influenced by her early musical inspirations, aiming to create uplifting, stadium-ready songs. ​

In April 2024, Katrina and Steve welcomed their daughter, Poppy Rae, into the world. Reflecting on this new chapter, Katrina expressed, "The love I feel for her is indescribable, and my heart has never been so full." ​

Katrina continues to pursue her goal of becoming the first Australian female artist in three decades to make a significant impact on the American country music scene, sharing her journey and music with audiences worldwide. ​
