Liquid Concrete holt aus zum nächsten Schlag! Während alle noch die Nacht mit Hybrid Minds in ihren Träumen verarbeiten, bereiten wir mit 175 Schlägen pro Minute eine Clubnacht vor, die ganz im Zeichen der Roller steht.
SERUM, aus unserer Sicht ganz oben angesiedelt unter den „Best of British“ ist ein absolutes Original. Sein einzigartiger, moderner Jump-Up-Sound sticht aus der Masse heraus und rollt einfach über den Floor. Seine Sets sind hypnotische, nicht enden wollende Ansagen der Triebkraft. Keine Sekunde verkommt in Langeweile und trotz seiner bevorzugten langen Sets vergehen die Minuten wie Sekunden.
Entdeckt wurde er einst von der Legende Ray Keith, einem absoluten Veteranen der allerersten Stunde, und somit war das erste Signing von Serum bereits auf Dread geschehen. Der Rest ist schon fast Geschichte; Releases wie Dub Dread und der Remix von Girls Dem Want It, viele Airplays auf BBC Radio One, weitere Releases auf Liquid V, Mac 2 und Critical zementierten seinen Platz in der Drum-and-Bass-Kultur schnell.
All das führte zur Gründung des Producer-Teams Kings of the Rollers, was Serum mehr oder weniger jetzt schon zur Legende macht. Diese Combo hat die Szene auf den Kopf gestellt und den Foghorn-Sound über alle Maßen durch die Clubs und über die Festivals getrieben und viele Producer inspiriert.

Exploid Biography
Exploid is an independent electronic producer and DJ hailing from Hamburg/Bremen, Germany. His passion for bass music builds up since early 2000s and has remained strong ever since. He combines strong and heavy basslines with uplifting melodies and creates a unique hybrid sound.
His inimitable brand of music is unlike anything else. Powerful, mysterious, but also melodic and densely arranged, these tracks have an immediate mesmerizing effect on audiences. Never one to chase trends, he continues to blaze his own path, exploring the depths of Drum & Bass and Tech House and constantly reinventing his sound.
Exploid has been expressing himself musically since he was a child. Born as son from a jazz musician, he started at the age of 12 with drum lessons. A few years later, he mastered the art of Bass, Guitar, Piano and other instruments. This passion for playing and creating music has never changed and has since enabled him to smash venues as musician, producer and DJ.
As much inspired by the sounds of rave, winding, wobbling and low basses, Exploid is already known for his signature dance floor smashing style, bright melodies, smooth but also heavy basslines. Despite this, he’s experimenting with every kind of sounds, genres and sub-genres. He’s pushing the boundaries, unites music and try to do something different. This has, and always will, be a very important part of his production style.
