About this concert
Acclaimed cellist and co-founder of the Bowerbird Collective, Anthony Albrecht, performs in Strathalbyn with an unmissable recital. Anthony was the first Australian graduate of The Juilliard School's Historical Performance program in New York City, receiving his Master of Music on full scholarship, and has appeared as soloist and with prestigious ensembles throughout the world.

The Bowerbird Collective are gaining an international reputation as multimedia storytellers, curators and
performers crossing the arts/science divide. Their award-winning productions include Where Song Began, Life
on Land's Edge and Songs of Disappearance, which reached the top of the ARIA charts in 2022.
Anthony Albrecht, cellist, was the first Australian graduate of The Juilliard School's Masters in Historically Informed Performance, and Simone Slattery, violinist, holds a PhD from University of Adelaide, specialising in baroque improvisation.
