Stealing Society Biography

Stealing Society began back in 2016, and in 2021, they released their debut EP, "All by Chance".

The group filmed a music video for the single, “Evanescent Love”, at Castle Roxx in Manayunk, PA and released it in spring of 2022. It amassed over 20,000 views in the first weekend of release.

They played a handful of shows in the months following the EP release, and in December 2022, band members Joey Sita and Colin Vaughn rebuilt the group, which is now backed by drummer, Alex Buyser, and guitarist, Jake Biondi, with additional lead and backing vocals provided by David Melendez.
This new, powerful lineup has played dozens of shows since they reformed in May of 2023, ranging from full original sets to 4 hour cover shows to stripped down acoustic gigs.

Four new singles are in the process of release, with the first two already out. "Facade of Calm" marked the initial followup to their debut EP. It was released in November 2024 and featured singer David Lee Melendez on lead vocals and Jake Biondi on lead guitar. This release was strategically planned to be first to show how the group has evolved with its change in membership. It is a gut-punching, alternative metal tune with powerful vocals and shredding guitar solos.

Following Facade in February 2025, "Fun and Games" stems from 80's rock roots mixed with modern alternative metal influences. Joey had this song in the vault since before the first EP. Fast, heavy riffs and quick-changing vocal lines make this one a head-banging hit.

Two more releases are set for spring 2025.
