Devin Henry Biography
Devin Henry is a Country-Rock artist who encapsulates the culture, spirit, and sound of small town America. Devin grew up on the Ohio River between the villages of Gallipolis, OH and Point Pleasant, WV with Appalachia in his blood. Growing up in a musically-inclined family, there was always an instrument to pick up and play. Having grandparents and uncles who played on the radio and at the Grand Ol Opry, it wouldn't be long before he would begin chasing dreams and carving a path of his own as a rising country artist. Sharing stages with Radio artists including Blake Shelton, Parmalee, Jon Pardi, Lakeview, Russell Dickerson, Travis Denning, Lanco, Avery Anna, and more, he has made a name for himself in the industry.
Guitars, Banjos, and Bass Drops - His style is not just influenced by country music, but rock as well, like a combination of CMT and MTV (when it was good). Some call it "Chevy Metal" others describe it as "Country Eastern", but whatever it is crowd-goers beg for more. "I grew up in the middle of nowhere, but we weren't disconnected from what was 'cool'. We had our own kind of swagger in BFE bumping more than just country music. My kind of country looked much different than the cowboy hats and the country western they sell on TV and even the radio. It looked more like Walmart parking lots, Black Ice car fresheners, and burnt CDs." (Devin). His music sounds new, yet it the elements sound familiar. Growing up listening to all genres and decades of country and rock his unique style is generational. His songs fit well on a playlist along with artists like Bailey Zimmerman, HARDY, Koe Wetzel, and Treaty Oak Revival.
