Intimate, mellow folk with a nostalgic edge, a tribute to fragility and impermanence.
Guillaume Vierset is equipped with his candy-coloured glitter guitar and his delicate but hoarse voice, which we discover with this project. The all-round guitarist becomes WILL, a timeless, unadorned singer-songwriter.
Steeped in Nick Drake, Elliott Smith, Neil Young and Sufjan Stevens, and sprinkled with indie references such as Florist, Sparklehorse, Lomelda, Bon Iver and Blake Mills, IAMWILL is a terribly touching one-man show.
