The Blue Moon Biography
Welcome to The Blue Moon, a vintage Rock’n’Roll band from the Watford, UK (the home of Rock’n’Roll, we’re sure you’ll agree!)
2025 sees the release of The Blue Moon’s second EP ‘So Glad’ recorded with Jamie Savage at Chem19 Studios in East Kilbride, Scotland. Working with a new live band, James and Alex hope to have captured a more mature songwriting endeavour, with nuanced lyrics and subtle gear changes. The tracks have been tried and tested on stages throughout the UK and Netherlands. The EP’s tracks reflect the band’s growth, both as musicians and as individuals, exploring themes of self-reflection, joy, and the complexities of life and love.
“We’re so proud of how So Glad has turned out,. We’ve pushed ourselves to experiment with new sounds, whilst still keeping that raw energy that fans love. Chem19 provides the perfect environment for us to experiment and fine-tune our vision. This EP feels like the next step in our journey, and we can’t wait to share it with everyone.”
The EP is expected to feature three tracks that balance soaring melodies with introspective lyrics, all infused with the band’s trademark blend of rock, indie, and soulful pop influences. Fans can look forward to a collection of songs that are both uplifting and heartfelt, with a sound that is more polished, yet still rich with the passion and energy that The Blue Moon is known for.
