Nine to Fyah Biography
Est. in early 2019, Nine to Fyah was founded by close friends JB Mannie and Conner George. Based out of Portland, Oregon, the bands mission is to deliver "Full Time Vibes”, aiming to be an escape for their listeners from the monotony of the daily grind. Their music maintains a distinctly roots backbone with a pronounced West Coast/Island-Reggae influence.
In late 2019, the group released their debut album "Age of Influence" recorded and produced by E.N Young at Imperial Sound Studios under Roots Musician Records. Tracks such as "Come My Way", "Call The Doctor", and "Pardon Me" caught the attention of reggae enthusiasts across the globe setting the stage for a new fresh sound out of the Pacific Northwest. The record has experienced more than one million streams and continues to gain momentum.
The band has since released new singles titled "Always Be There" (feat Johnny Suite), “Let the Light In” and “Hook, Line & Sinker”, which have aired on Radio Stations in Hawaii, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Tonga and Guam. Their latest single "We Could Be Something" features Bo Napoleon, a TOP40 Charting Island Artist and songwriter of Grammy Nominated Common Kings. Nine to Fyah is undoubtedly bringing a unique and uplifting sound into the U.S. reggae scene, where the Islands meet the West Coast.
