J. Caruso

Prior to J. Caruso’s first solo release he was vocalist, guitarist and composer for the Alt Rock trio Wired and drummer/ percussionist for the Americana Roots Rock outfit Jackson Ridge Rodeo. J. comes from the Caruso musician- and record/ instrument retailer- family of New Rochelle NY. As a life long drummer/ percussionist/ vocalist- and guitarist/ composer for two decades- he later began producing and engineering records while studying Music Industry & Tech in New York. Around 2012 is when solo work began along with the launch of the Overall Records label. J. has played New York and Southern California circuits, has toured the U.S. east coast and has played CBGB, The Whisky and more. 
He has performed drums and percussion fusion with jazz artist Duke Guillaume/ SaxoMezzo and has also performed with Rob Cannillo in The Acoustic Roadshow.
