As Tides Rise Biography
As Tides Rise is a 5 piece metalcore band based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Founded in 2020 by members
Micah Murphy, Austin Staton, Tristan Wallitsch, Brandon Maynard, and Alex Martino, As Tides Rise
gained traction fast with their two stand alone singles “Break the Waves” and “Yours Truly”. “Yours Truly”
was featured on Ghost Killer Entertainment’s spotify playlist, “Emo Never Dies”, with over 37,000 listeners.
As Tides Rise has opened for some noteworthy national acts recently such as Like Moths to Flames, Attack
Attack, Convictions, and Upon a Burning Body. As Tides Rise currently has 2 singles and a 5 track EP that is
available for streaming on all platforms. In 2025, As Tides Rise will continue to gain momentum in the music
scene through muliple releases and more show announcements. On January 24th, As Tides Rise’s newest
single, “Stay With Me” will be released on all platforms.
