The Kowloons

a fresh Liverpool band revitalising Britpop with their fusion of jangly harmonies and Northern acoustic garage pop. Formed in 2022 by twin brothers Stephen Ng (vocals) and Anthony Ng (drums), the lineup expanded to include Mason Jones (guitar) and Bobby Griffiths (bass).

The Kowloons have quickly established themselves as one to watch in the emerging wave of Merseyside bands. Boasting a powerful songwriting prowess beyond their years, as displayed in the first euphoric single off their debut EP, ‘Can We Go Faster?’, which is to be followed by the thunderous second track ‘Raining (It Don’t Stop)’.

The Kowloons celebrate the concise, chorus-driven style of Northern hits, featuring thoughtful lyrics inspired by a wealth of film and literature. Their sound is rich and nostalgic, sounding like a lost polaroid from your youth, wrapped up in catchy hooks and melodies.
