I’ve been a Daring Greatly fan for over 10 years and they still continue to amaze me with their incredible original and cover songs. I had not seen the new additions to band but was pleasantly surprised how well they fit in with Brayden, Liam, & Patrick. It’s an even bigger and fuller sound now hard to believe they could get even better than before.
Their harmonies are just incredible so if you’ve not seen this band yet, it’s time to check them out before they start playing larger venues. Enjoy the intimate experience while you can because these guys are ready to go to the next level.

Daring Greatly Biography
Daring Greatly is a harmony-driven rock band that fuses ’70s-inspired grit, modern soul, and the storytelling roots of folk and country. Formed by brothers Patrick and Liam Croome, alongside drummer Brayden Tario, the band’s journey began when they left Calgary, Alberta in their early 20s, chasing a dream and leaving behind the familiar for the promise of something greater. With a fire in their hearts and a motorhome to call home, they hit the road to Southern California—only to watch that motorhome burn to the ground before their journey had truly begun.
Instead of giving up, they rebuilt. Fueled by resilience and a refusal to back down, they kept moving forward—learning how to adapt, grow, and survive on the road. They took every opportunity to make music, even recording a demo album with members of Lynyrd Skynyrd in Nashville during those early days. That spirit of tenacity and independence has never wavered.
With guitarist Jeff Starkey and bassist Brendan Cutrer adding new dimensions to their evolving sound, Daring Greatly has become known for their explosive live performances—taking audiences on a journey that seamlessly moves from anthemic rock and heartfelt ballads to high-energy jams. Their music blends classic rock spirit with the soul of folk and country, driven by soaring three-part harmonies and raw, honest emotion.
Their latest album, Let It Ride (January 2025), captures that signature blend of soulful rock ‘n’ roll, rich harmonies, and fearless songwriting. It follows four independently released records that showcase the band’s dedication to crafting authentic, timeless music. Recognized for their hard work and artistry, Daring Greatly has earned multiple San Diego Music Award nominations, including Artist of the Year (2024 & 2025), and shared the stage with acts like Bon Jovi, The Doobie Brothers, Sublime, and Plain White T’s.
No gimmicks—just real music, played with heart. Daring Greatly is more than just a band—it’s a story of brotherhood, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of the dream.
"When I first met them in Nashville, and heard them play and sing in the studio, I was truly impressed. They have a sound and a chemistry together that is unique and inspiring.” - Peter Keys of Lynyrd Skynyrd

“Their musicianship is incredible given their age, and their harmonies are as good as anyone I have ever heard. The industry has not heard an act like this for a very long time. I believe this talented group will be talked about in the same breath as the Eagles, and Crosby Stills Nash and Young- Seriously!” - Dave Temple – MCC Studios (CCMA studio of the year 2013, 2014)
