BAH.ROMA is one of the brightest representatives of the Ukrainian indie scene.The group debuted with the single "Nadolgo" in late 2009 and immediately received the audience in Ukraine and in the post-soviet area. In Ukraine they performed at all main festivals and played on the same stage with Good Charlotte, Placebo, Hurts, Brainstorm and other bands. Their song "Na glubine" became the main soundtrack to the TV series "Kyiv by Day and Night".The leader of the band Roman Bakharev not only makes music, but also actively participates in social projects. In 2020, the band released a single "Hero" and started a social project which was aimed to support mental health. The project was supported by Ukrainian artists Onuka, Alyona Alyona, Dasha Kolomoyets and others.This year, since the beginning of the war, Roman has performed several acoustic gigs in Ukraine and Europe, profit from which has been forwarded to support Ukrainians affected by the war.Roman is the co-founder of the charitable foundation called “META UA”, the main aim of which is to give social and financial support to the orphans and children with children with special needs.
