pure xtc is the brainchild of Baltimore native Taylor Hughes, a powerhouse multi-instrumentalist and producer. The project was built on late nights, loud feelings, and the thrill of figuring it out alone.

Since then, she’s scored films, shared stages with Fletcher and Indigo De Souza, and carved out a sound that’s unmistakably hers. Moody, electric, and unapologetically raw, pure xtc blends atmospheric soundscapes with infectious melodies that pull you in deeper with every note. She’s played major festivals across the country, including The Dinah —the world’s largest queer women’s music festival and performed on live TV with ABC 27 and Fox 21. Her music’s been featured on Apple Music’s New in Alternative and Vevo’s Incoming Alternative, while “Fall Apart” echoed through Birkenstock and Harvey Nichols stores across the U.K. and Europe.
