About this concert
On VE Remembrance weekend, join us for an evening of sentimental swing! With a wonderful 7 piece band, we’ll be paying homage to the artists I LOVE who kept spirits high during the 30’s and 40’s. With a world class ensemble of musicians, including 3 brass players, we visit the works of Glenn Miller, The Andrews Sisters, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Vera Lynn and more!
I’ll throw a few of my 40’s influenced originals in too.
Put on your dancing shoes and let’s bring the heightened nostalgia of those swinging dance halls back to life!

Rebecca Poole Biography
Rebecca Poole (formerly known as Purdy) has released her highly praised Jazz album 'Dreamers Ball' championed by Jazz Fm, Smooth Jazz and Track of the Week on BBC introducing/ BBC Sounds.
Rebecca has toured with Jools Holland- Including a knock out show at The Royal Albert Hall, performing her self penned remembrance song to 90,000 people at Wembley Stadium, guesting with Jamie Cullum on the BBC Cheltenham Festival stage and supporting Lana Del Rey. The sultry starlet, recently appeared in hit Netflix TV series 'The Crown' singing 'Can't take my eyes off you'.
