Sweet Desire Biography

Formed in Altoona, Pennsylvania in 2021, Sweet Desire has been steadily climbing the contemporary rock and roll ladder. Despite their young age (the oldest members being 21), they draw heavy inspiration from the sights, sounds, and experiences of 1960s and 70s psychedelia, hard rock, and blues. Bell bottoms and platform boots included!

In June of 2023, they released their first single "Raspberry Joe Blues" featuring special guest Jimmie Bones from Kid Rock. Since then, they have had the opportunity to open for bands like Sponge, Quiet Riot, and the Steve Miller Band, among others.

Their first single release of 2024 , aptly named "Sweet Desire," explores themes of indulgence, self-expression, lust, and passion.

Shoveling coal to fuel the flame, the band has abruptly released two new songs. “Easy Woman, Lovin’ Woman”, an original tune with that classic Sweet Desire touch. Studio experimentation is prominent throughout the track, introducing new instruments and sounds. “Year Of The Outrage”, is a song originally by the band, ‘Quicksilver Messenger Service’. Sweet Desire decided to do one take on the tune, featuring their own improvised jams and a new set of vocals from guitarist, Kenton Lewis. Although the track may be too lengthy for radio stations, the band felt it would be a great B side for fans who want to hear more. The band continues to build their reputation by releasing strong singles such as "The Dealer". An enticing album drop is awaited by the "Sweethearts" (Fanbase name) and Sweet Desire shows no signs of stopping that train.
