The Evolutionists
The Evolutionists are a live Soul and Hip Hop/R&B band headed by New England Award Winning artists Fee the Evolutionist and Ruby Shabazz.
Fee is an emcee with a golden era flow which compliments Ruby’s soulful vocals. Ruby’s voice is reminiscent of the classic R&B singers of the past and the duo is backed by some of the most accomplished musicians in New England. Together, the Evolutionists fuse classic soul samples which we know and love into an original, fresh sound of Hip Hop and R&B.

Fee the Evolutionist Biography
Fee the Evolutionist delivers a unique flow reminiscent of the golden-era emcees. He's
collaborated with legendary hip hop producers Ski Beats (Jay-Z, Mos Def & Camp Lo) and has
had songs placed in movies and tv such as HBO, Amazon Prime and the NBA.
Fee’s latest project is a collaboration with #1 Billboard charting and Boston hip hop artist Edo
G. Their collaborative song “Without Me” has a boom bap classic feel that pays tribute to the
culture while calling out anyone who is disrespectful of the genre. DJ Myth scratches up a hook
that perfectly supports the sentiments that the lyricists convey.
• 2021 - Fee was awarded the Best of New Hampshire award by NH Magazine for his
musical contribution to the community.
• 2022 - Fee won first prize for best R&B/Hip Hop song in the prestigious New England
Songwriting Competition.
• 2022 - New England Music Award for Rising Star: New Hampshire.
The future looks promising for Fee with a full length recording project in the works and
performances planned throughout the Merrimack Valley.
