Andy Richards Band Biography
Born in Stourbridge, now residing in Worcestershire, Andy Richards cut his teeth as a performer while travelling in the North America and during his student days in bars and open mic nights. He produces melodic songs taking cues from western folk/pop legends including Paul Simon and John Martyn and has cultivated a finger-picked, rhythmical guitar style that complements his rich vocal tones. Accompanied by his band, a familiar but uniquely captivating percussive live sound is achieved.
The new EP ‘Night That Has No End’ recorded at the end of 2023 at Black Tree Studios in Worcestershire has just been released.
