Live vintage soul at one of the best venues in the city for live music, classic cocktails, fine food and one of the largest whiskey collections we've ever seen! Brooke & The Nice Things will play in the main lounge from 8pm-11pm. During the set breaks experience live vintage burlesque at 9pm and 10pm. Brooke & The Nice Things Biography
The band plays solid originals drenched in the spirit of soul to make you move and covers that you didn't know were your favorites till you heard them at the show. Brooke & the Nice Things are too young to be old school; however, their influences undoubtedly reflect the Golden Era of Rhythm and Blues.
While the band makes people dance and move throughout many of Chicago’s premier music venues and festivals, they continually embrace the opportunity to play many private events throughout the Midwest, including weddings, corporate events, and other unique and special events where the mission is to create something fresh, exciting and truly memorable…and make people move.
The South Side Neighborhood of Bridgeport nurtured the band over the course of its first two years and helped sustain the band midst line-up changes and musical shifts as the band worked to tighten up and refine their sound. Today, the band is proud to have a full soul line-up made up a diverse group of people from numerous backgrounds and places across the United States. Each brings their own specific strengths and talents to a truly dynamic group.
