About this concert
The 2025 Great Texas Balloon Race & Festival will be held at the Longview Convention Complex. Competitive balloon flights are scheduled for the mornings of Friday through Sunday over the Longview area. The Great Texas Balloon Race is proud to present Sheila And The Caddo Kats. (6:30pm) They will be the opening act for the main event, Joe Nichols, (9:30pm)"Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off". That will be performing later that evening.
The Great Texas Balloon Race is dedicated to providing a family-oriented, world-class event promoting the sport of ballooning. The Great Texas Balloon Race is a Balloon Federation of America event and hosted the BFA’s United States National Championship competition. For these years, the national competition brought an additional three days of competition flights to the East Texas area. The event is again in the midst of a three-year run of the BFA U.S. National Hot Air Balloon Championship, which returned to Longview.

Sheila And The Kats were awesome. Love them. I do believe they can sing every genre of music and sing it well. The whole band is so entertaining and definitely has what it takes to keep people coming back for more. I love Rowdy Creek Ranch. Beautiful place. This was my third visit there and I will be going back; but I would like for them to bring back the full menu.
