Zimmeroo Biography
Zimmeroo is an Alternative Rock band based out of Oklahoma. The band plays a mix of their own original music, 90’s rock hits, and classic rock, as well as familiar tunes from the early 2000’s. The band is made up of Cody Frost on lead guitar, and vocals, Dalyn Rae on rhythm guitar and lead vocals, Lani Frost on bass, and Austin Lucky on drums. The band was formed in May of 2021 and has been turning heads and gaining attention since. After being noticed by Brenda Cline with Workhorse 615 from Nashville, the band began an Artist Development program with her company.
Cody Frost is the father of Dalyn and Lani. He is a Nationally recognized award winning guitar player. With roots in bluegrass and influence from the likes of David Gilmore (Pink Floyd) and Eddie Van Halen (Van Halen), he has developed a unique style of playing like no other. He has toured professionally across the nation and also won state and national championships. He has been recognized by Guitar Player magazine for these achievements.
Dalyn Rae began her musical journey at a young age. She has always enjoyed singing, and later picked up the guitar to accompany herself. She is a professionally trained vocalist, taking lessons from instructors based in Nashville throughout her teens. She is the songwriter for all of the band’s original music, using her knack for storytelling to write intricate and catchy tunes. She is a quiet girl in normal life, but once she gets behind the mic, she comes alive. Taking vocal influence from Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy), Layne Staley (Alice In Chains), and Anne Wilson
(Heart), Dalyn Rae is a huge voice inside a small body.
Lani Frost began playing bass in 2018, and has taken off with it since. She has a passion for music, and her sassy attitude fits perfectly behind a bass guitar. Many spectators have been shocked at her skills, surprised that such small hands can move up and down the fretboard like that; she’s a fan favorite at shows!
Austin Lucky had never played rock music before he joined Zimmeroo in the summer of 2023, but he plays as though he's been at it for years. With high energy and exciting fills, he completes the band perfectly. His passion for the instrument is clear in the way he plays, and he is so much fun to watch!
