Kevin Nichols Biography
California's Kevin Nichols delivers fresh, fuzzed-out expression and direct, pointed emotion in catchy ear-candy bops for everyone. With two albums and two EPs under their belt, as well as a new full-length record on the way, Kevin has been featured in Fortnite, BrooklynVegan, Bandcamp Daily, SPIN, and more. From 2017 to 2022, Nichols toured extensively across the West and Southwest, building a devoted fanbase in clubs and house shows.
After spending three weeks in the Mojave Desert with Grammy-nominated/platinum record producer Alex Newport, Kevin's third full-length album, "Empty Out Who You Are," was born. It is a deep exploration of personal history, delving into the childhood wounds that linger and haunt. It serves as a poignant reminder that one can never truly return to a home that no longer exists; some doors in life can never be reopened.
Through their music, Nichols navigates the process of shedding the weight of yearning for innocence once more and embracing the poignant truth.
