Mark Williams Biography

Almost 50 years have passed since Mark's voice hit the airwaves with 'Yesterday Was Just The Beginning Of My Life'. This Kiwi classic is as timeless as the man himself and helped carve out the beginning of a long and successful life in music.

Other 70's classics followed suit. Sweet Wine, It Doesn't Matter Anymore and House For Sale all emerged before Mark moved to Australia.

His landmark song ‘Show No Mercy’ set his legendary status in stone, also inspiring major sporting events and teams through the nineties. He then went behind the scenes of major television shows coaching artists for Popstars, Australia Idol, The Voice before taking on an invitation from Todd Hunter to join Dragon. As lead singer for this iconic band for the last 17 years, Mark's legacy continues unabated.
